Support COS Reads – Help Us Build the Future!

Your Support is Needed Now More Than Ever!

COS Reads is our 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, officially launched to create a vibrant community space in Northwest Colorado Springs and advocate for systemic reforms within the Pikes Peak Library District. Save Rockrimmon Library is the first campaign under the COS Reads umbrella, dedicated to preserving library access and ensuring accountability for decisions that impact our community.

With your help, we can secure a space for an interim library, organize community events, and continue our legal and advocacy efforts to bring transparency, accountability, and lasting change to our library district.

Why Your Donation Matters Now

Our long-term goal is to restore the Pikes Peak Library District’s traditional values, ensure fiscal responsibility, rehabilitate the Board of Trustees, and work toward reopening the Rockrimmon Library.

In the short term, renting the Rockrimmon Library location will:

- Preserve the space for our future library district.

- Provide a venue for community services, programs, and events.

- Establish an interim lending library run by volunteers.

If we do not act now, the space will likely be leased for five or more years, making it unavailable to us in the future.

We’ve previously raised over $90,000 in pledges, but donations need to be converted to cash in our new bank account to demonstrate fiscal viability to the landlord. While we are exploring corporate donations and grants, these funds take time to secure.

Thank you for supporting this cause. Together, we can ensure our community’s library legacy endures.
